Victoria de Geoffroy du Rouret

Auteur-compositeur-interprète, Viktoria a grandi à Londres, a hérité dès son enfance du goût des voyages. Bac littéraire en poche, quitte la France pour étudier à Mc Gill à Montréal, une ville cosmopolite où celle ci prendra le temps d’explorer les styles musicaux électro, pop, rock et jazz dans les clubs du Boulevard Saint Laurent. • De retour en France, Viktoria intègre l’équipe marketing d’une grande multinationale. Une immersion radicale dans le monde du corporate qui deviendra un lieu d’inspiration pour un projet d’album. • En 2012, sa passion pour la musique prend le dessus. Elle expérimente la scène en France et aux Etats Unis soutenue au piano par le musicien Steve Nieve, quitte le monde trop lisse et formaté de l’entreprise pour se consacrerà la musique et travailler à la réalisation de 10 titres en registrés à Londres au Britannia Raw Studios. « Essentiel pour moi de donner à cet album toutes les couleurs de ce cross-over franco-britannique. Il est aussi teinté de notes exotiques, évocatrices de mes nombreux voyages. • En 2015, de retour en France, un cursus de formation de musique électronique à l’école ATLA l’entraîne à adapter son album au LIVE : mélodies pop, dynamiques rock et vibrations électroniques et enchaine sur une série de concerts dans les salles parisiennes dont Le Réservoir, Le Baron, Théatre du Gymnase, Le China, Très Honoré, L’international, La Dame de Canton, Le Cavern Club, Bus Palladium, ainsi qu'à l'étranger :The Entreprise Camden à Londres, Joe's pub à New York et Dinemec Studios en Suisse, Viktoria se révèle une artiste de scène.

Viktoria  grew up in London, Paris, Milan and The Hague. From her early days, she experienced varied cultures due to her many travels. • After her French baccalaureate, Viktoria went to Montreal, Canada to study literature and international relations at McGill University. In her spare time, she performed on the Saint Laurent Boulevard and on campus and her success was instantaneous which gave birth to her desire to create more and more music and song writing. • Upon graduation, Viktoria returned to Paris to pursue a career in one of France’s biggest companies, l’Oreal as a member of the marketing team for designer brand fragrances. This full immersion in the corporate world became the inspiration for an album project. • In 2012, her passion for music took over. She started to give live performances singing some of her first musical compositions accompanied by Elvis Costello’s keyboardist, Steve Nieve. The excitement of live performances convinced her to leave the corporate world in order to devote all of her waking hours to a first ten track record which she produced and recorded at Britannia Row Studios in London. • In 2013 Viktoria met a few DJs from the international scene with whom she started various collaborations giving them “carte blanche” to remix a few of her tracks under the project name “Viktoria Station”. • Her first single “Music is Love” kicked off with an exciting and smashing remix by Timothy Allan and Mark Loverush ( Lovelrush UK) and was ranked #10 in the Music Week Club charts of July 2013 then I’m in Heaven remix was charted in the International Deejaworx Peak #14 in Europe, Top 20 in Asia, North America and South Africa Winter 2014. • In 2015 Viktoria completed a musical sound engineering course in Paris at Atla School in Paris where she met her bassist and drummer with whom she now performs live in Paris. • In 2017 she recorded couple of songs in French in order to toughen her music repertoire. • Better than read about Viktoria, come and listen to her
