My work aims to illustrate the impact of plastic on the environment, especially the harmful effects it has on the fauna and flora (oceans and animals). This project was conceived to appear poetic, mysterious and leading to a reflection on the future of our planet. Indeed, plastic pollution is one of the major issues we face today. Even if consciences begin to awaken, this is unfortunately not fast enough for the moment. We talk about it everywhere and every day, but the evolution is not immediate ... If the following quote inspires you: « When everyone helps, no one kills himself. », then allow me to present this project to warn you about the consequences of plastic on our planet. To transmit this message through the art is a poetic and touching way for me, to approach a dramatic subject that concerns all people. That is why I want to add a stone to a building through this project.

This project is divided into three parts (VIDEO / DANCE / CONFERENCE). This can be modulated according to demand; only one or independently combine them together. In addition to having an artistic aspect, an educational objective comes into play. It would be interesting, even indispensable, that the young public, who are the future of tomorrow, be confronted at the youngest age with this problem, that is plastic. This modular project is perfect to be introduce into the school curriculum. Videos can be worked upstream with the teacher, a choreographic piece to introduce students to art in all its forms and a conference to bring the curiosity of the young in full learning of the values of life.

By discovering the properties of Polymer that made this word perfect to me to become the title of the piece. It is an element that has become ubiquitous in many objects of our daily life, such as plastics. The substances used in the production of plastic are natural products such as cellulose, coal, natural gas, salt and crude oil. Plastic production begins with a distillation operation in an oil refinery. The two main operations in the production of plastics are polymerization and polycondensation. There are many types of plastics that can be classified into two major families of polymers: • Thermoplastics (which soften when heated and harden as they cool). • Thermosetting plastics (which do not soften once they have been molded).

Documenting myself on this subject has radically changed my way of life. As a result, I now use less plastic, switched to the bamboo toothbrush. I also no longer use a razor or disposable cotton swab. Now, I look more and more into the composition of my purchases and packaging. Moreover, when I began working on this project, I started to make my own cosmetics (shampoo, deodorant, creams, toothpaste, etc). It would be my greatest achievement to be able to influence all those who are closely or indirectly following my work to reduce the pollution in the oceans and our lands. By acting and saving our planet, we will succeed in saving a multitude of living beings. I took great pleasure in informing myself about this fact that affects us all and I hope that in addition to feeling concerned, you will act. It is impossible to manage everything alone or to succeed without the help of anyone. Sooner or later people come into our lives! Whether for good or bad reasons, they make us evolve. It is thanks to this exchange that everything is possible. I thank you for the time you have spent reading this brief and for your support.
